This is Nippon Kodo's Hana-No-Hana incense box. The incense comes in a small, plastic, box with lovely Japanese art on the front. In the box are 10 sticks each of Violet, Rose and Lily, along with a small ceramic burner in the shape of a flower. The sticks are very short and burn for about 10 minutes. Hana-No-Hana was Japan's first perfumed incense. According to Nippon Kodo, the manufacturer, It is a blend of Western perfumery and Eastern incense...
The description of fragrances are:
Rose: This rose is spicy and floral/woody and it is subtle. The top note is spice, middle is vanilla and base notes are sandalwood and musk.
Violet: The violet scent is floral, powdery and green with woody tones. It is very subtle and enjoyable. Violet is calming. The top note is Violet, the middle note is Floral and the base notes are a blend Sandalwood and Musk.
Lily: The lily is green and woody. The focus was on white lilies in this incense. That green scent is mellowed with the sandalwood and musk and this is a subtle incense. The top note is leafy green, the middle note is white lily and the base notes are sandalwood and musk.
