How to Use Natural Resins:
To use this natural resin as an incense, you will need a non-combustible (ceramic, stone, clay, brass) dish or bowl and some stones and a piece of charcoal, specially made to burn incense. Violet and Company sells the charcoal-made by Three Kings or Swift. You can also find these charcoals on eBay or Amazon. Don't use regular barbecue charcoal. This seems like a lot to do to burn incense, but the results are worth the effort.
1. place a small number of pebbles (just natural pebbles from your driveway or the park) on the bottom of your dish, allowing for air flow between the stones.
2. Place your charcoal on the stones in the dish and ignite it per manufacturer's instructions.
3. when the charcoal starts to turn mostly white, put your resin on top of the charcoal.
4. don't leave it unattended when burning and keep out of reach of pets, children and combustible objects.
