Kashmir resin, or some call it Christmas resin, or Kashmir Christmas resin, is a spicy, woody, herbaceous resin, made to burn on charcoal, or other external combustible. There are several different recipes for Kashmir resin, but all have a base recipe of frankincense, myrrh and benzoin. Benzoin is a sweet, vanilla scent, frankincense is citrus, and spice and myrrh is earthy, woody and spicy. The *wild cards* are added based on the recipe-those would be cinnamon, cedarwood, and lavender flower or other florals for top notes.
