White Copal resin, 2 ounces, This resin is not self-combusting and needs a heat source such as charcoal. It is perfect for making your own incense sticks or burning on charcoal. White copal is sometimes used along with sage for purifying and cleansing. Copal is very popular in Central and South America as well as in the USA. It is used as offerings in churches and in religious ceremonies. Copal is one of the incenses used on altars on "El Dia De Los Muertos"-or Day of the Dead.
When the copal is burnt, it liquifies, and smokes. Please use proper utensils and dishes for combusting.

An outstanding purchase. This resin was used by the Mayans in their ceremonies and it is easy to see why they held it in such high regard. It has a marvelous scent. Very different from other resins.
